Saturday's road race start from the Lorneville roundabout, and is run on an out and back course. A, B, and C grade will race over 40km, D grade 30km (mass start, sealed handicap), and E grade 16km (mass start, sealed handicap). Entries via Webscorer here, closing Friday at 12 noon.
In D and E grade, there will be predetermined handicaps, but these will not be known to the riders. It will be a mass start for each grade, with the handicaps being 'unsealed' after the finish to determine the winner.

Wednesday Worlds
Wednesday Worlds is back (weather permitting, of course!)
Same place, same time - Tisbury Hall, 6pm sign on, 6:30pm start for a good mid-week hit out.
Remember to fit lights for the ride back, as the light can still be an issue this early in the season, especially on cloudy days. .

Covid-19 response: Alert Level 1

Level 1:

With the return to Covid Alert Level 1 as of 12am Tuesday 22 September, there are no further restrictions to gathering sizes. We do ask that everyone continues observing good hygiene and using the Covid tracker app when entering Stadium Southland.

Guidelines for exercise under Level 1:

*Keep a diary of where you were and when, so it is possible to contact trace should there be another wave of Covid-19 infections.
*Please maintain good hygiene - when on the road, go to the back of the group before clearing your nose. Better yet, take a hankerchief, blow your nose, and dispose of appropriately at home.

ILT Stadium Southland and SIT Zero Fees Velodrome:

We still require registration through Webscorer to ensure contact tracing and to help our coaches plan their sessions, and all riders, coaches, and officials will need to ensure their names are on the sign-in sheet for each session.

Stadium access:

Access to Stadium Southland for morning and early afternoon sessions will be through the main entrance of the stadium, with exit through the velodrome tunnel. Please use the government Covid tracking app to scan in to the venue.
For late afternoon and evening sessions (from around 4pm), access to the velodrome will be through the doors behind the playground next to the main entrance, with exit through the velodrome tunnel. Please use the dressing rooms in the passage further along from the bike lockup, as separate facilities are allocated to separate areas within the stadium.
