Wednesday - Zwift racing
Cycling Southland Wednesday Worlds p/b GreenMonkey is now an official Zwift event - thank you to Daniel Carruthers of GreenMonkey for his invaluable contribution when it came to making this happen. For more information on the event, click here, and enter via the Zwift Companion app. Racing on Wednesday evening, 6:30pm, with A, B, and C grades.

Wanaka’s Mikayla Harvey will be the first of the Vantage Cycling New Zealand team in action when the re-arranged UCI Road World Championships begin in Italy overnight. The 22-year-old, who turned cycling heads with a top-five finish in the Giro Rosa last week where she won the young rider classification, will join Commonwealth Games medallist Georgia Williams in the women’s individual time trial. The pair will be joined by 21-year Niamh Fisher-Black for the weekend road race. Read Article

Rotorua will host the Age Group Road National Championships in 2021, it was announced by Cycling New Zealand today. The event, to be held on 16 to 18 April 2021, attracts around 1000 competitors, supporters and officials incorporating the best age-group riders from under-15 to Senior along with the leading Masters riders from 35 years to over 75 years including a number of world champions and former leading professional riders.
