Hi everyone, yes it’s that time again!

This year’s Milford Sound to Invercargill Southland Heart Kids Charity Ride is on Saturday 15 November, and we would like to invite you to participate either as a team or an individual in this magnificent event to raise funds for our own Southland Heart Kids!

This will be our fourth year, and if last year’s turn out is anything to go by, this should be huge! Last year we raised close to $20,000 between around 30 riders & it is our goal to have up to 50 riders for this year’s ride!

Some of you have done this before, others I have rode with on the Westpac Chopper Appeal Ride from Queenstown to Invercargill & I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to this amazing challenge!

This year being our fourth ride, we are doing a slight course change to keep things interesting! As per usual we will be staying in Milford Sound the Friday night to leave Milford Sound in the small hours as we make our first leg of the journey to TeAnau where we will be once again stopping for some well-earned lunch. The Milford to TeAnau leg is always an amazing ride and is arguably one of the most spectacular rides in the world!

After lunch we start the second leg of our journey through Manapouri-Blackmount-Tuatapere & Riverton. This will be a first for this ride & should add to what is already an eye-popping ride, pretty much covering the Tour Of Southland leg, albeit the other way round!

We then will carry on from Riverton to Invercargill, where we have booked out Ainos for our well-earned evening meal/ raffle & prize giving thanks.

We want to cap the amount of riders to 50 for our road plan, and obviously for accommodation/ meal numbers, travel etc., so it will be a first 50 to join will be in basis, with a backup list if necessary?

As I mentioned we are encouraging either corporate teams etc. or individuals to participate, so if you have anyone not on this list keen to participate let me know ASAP & I will put them on the list?

Kind regards
Steve Rhodes
