Date: Tuesday, 18 September 2018

Greetings and wow what a shock to the system after stunning heat in the weekend – now there’s snow all around us – so a week of extremes for sure.

That’s best summed up with the fact that it is exactly eight years today since the Stadium collapsed under that massive Spring snowfall in 2010 – amazing how time flies and how much has happened since then!

Great to see so much progress during that time.

King House Removals Series

Night five of the King House Removals series had another change around of jerseys and three first-time jersey winners, which shows how close the series is this year. The racing continues to be very competitive with close finishes in most grades. The open men’s grade continues to grow with some masters dusting off the bikes to keep everyone honest.  View the full running results

A huge thanks to everyone for the help on the night with a special thanks to Danielle for making a couple of trips to help with the timing system. This coming Friday the 14th is a Keirin night then we take a break for the Schools Nationals, Junior Yunca, Carnival, Secondary Schools South Island Track and Oceanias.

Road Racing
A great turnout for the Vital Signs Beast of the East – although the strong breeze made racing conditions difficult at times. Check out the full results here Big thanks to everyone who volunteered to make it another great race.

This Saturday is the Property Scouts Woodstock Handicap with assembly at the Mabel Bush Hall at 1pm for 1.30pm racing – get out and enjoy the spring conditions.
