Hi everyone and with the longer, cooler nights and the Corporate Pursuit momentum building it is great to see the track getting extremely busy over the coming couple of week!

School bookings, NCEA classes and ongoing casual private bookings, along with growth in the regular weekly sessions are keeping the bike wheels going around and the boards of our wonderful facility ticking along nicely.

Righty ho, a bit to get through so I’ll try and keep them brief!

Huge congrats to our 20-year Tour de Lakes stalwart and cycling enthusiast extraordinaire Allan ‘Dunny” Dunn who has been awarded the Cycling NZ Road and Track Lifetime Service Award. Dunny will be presented this at the Cycling NZ AGM being held in Christchurch this weekend. Well deserved credit where it is due Dunny – enjoy the occasion!

Finally another couple of big congratulations – the first to Tom Scully for winning the opening round of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series in England with his Continental racing team Madison Genesis.

Also to Karl and Glenda Watson and the boys who featured in the paper with their new little girl Lucy who just happened to be born at 5.05am on the 5/5/15 – shouldn’t forget that one when you are old and doddery! Well done troops.

Take care for another week and keep warm and happy!
