Hi everyone and another Yunca Junior Tour of Southland is done and dusted for another year. While the weather didn’t play ball on day two with Saturday’s two stages having to be cancelled there was still some great racing and results. Well done to all our crew for giving their all and taking out some great overall wins and stage wins. Check out the results and stacks of great photos here
Next level is the news that our World Masters IP Champine Erin Criglington was able to come up with the goods at the UCI World Masters Champs in Manchester yesterday and defended her rainbow jersey – simply outstanding stuff Erin!! We are all super proud of your fantastic achievement and good luck for your remaining events from us all. Read her wrap up here
NZ Under 17 Development Squad

ILT Junior Track Carnival
A reminder that riders from throughout the country, a handful from Australia and most of our local juniors will be racing it out on the boards tonight and tomorrow night, starting from 7pm.
Entry is just $10 adults, $5 senior citizens and students and under 12s free. Should be some fun so hope to see you there cheering the kids on. A reminder to our junior Flyers riders that there will be the opportunity to have a race during the programme as well, so head on down if you can.
Club Omnium
A reminder that Nick has scheduled for an individual Club Omnium event to be held during the Track Carnival programme tonight and tomorrow so get your team riders organised and head along. The event will be determined by attendee numbers but is like to be a scratch race tonight.
Junior Division updates
A reminder there will be no Junior Division track racing this Friday night following Yunca and the Carnival over the next two nights.
The next Junior Division Meeting will be on Thursday 16 October, at 7pm. This is an important meeting for those wanting to attend Junior Track Nationals in Cambridge next year - all parents and interested parties are requested to attend.
Road Racing
This Thursday night (due to Track Carnival) will see the start of the Wednesday Worlds summer series – register 6pm for 6.30pm race start at Rimu School. The series will then continue on Wednesdays from next week. Rider entry just $5.
This weekend is the Donovan Graded Points Race – Enter by midday Friday please. Report 1pm at Retreat Road for 1.30pm race start.

Well on to the Carnival organisation for tonight for me, so it’s just left to say have fun at the SIT Zero Fees Velodrome everyone and also a huge good luck to all our crew and their contingent of supporters who over now over in Adelaide for the Oceas Track Champs representing both New Zealand and Southland starting tomorrow – hope you have some fantastic results everyone
