Greetings on a glorious Tuesday in the south,
Well the entries have been rolling in for the Southland Track Champs this weekend and we have riders from up and down the country – more than 130 in total – so it’s going to be a massive weekend of racing.

If volunteers could be available 30 minutes prior to the sessions starting – and door people and registrations one hour prior.
Sessions start at 6pm on Friday and 10am both weekend days. Thank you all very much!

Buy, Sell & Exchange
During the Southland Track Champs this weekend, there will be an area set up for buying, selling and exchanging cycling-related gear and equipment. $5 donation to the club if your sale is successful. Tags will be provided for you to fill in your name, contact details and an approximate price. So bring what you wish to sell or exchange and good luck.
Red Team Shirts
For all those who ordered red team shirts, these were delayed by the earthquakes but have been embroidered and I have collected them today – so swing by the office to pick yours up. A reminder that they were $35 each for those who haven’t paid already thank you.
Endurance Squad
Can anyone please assist Kurt by riding the motorbike for Enduro Squad tonight from 7pm. Let me know at the office if you can help out – hugely appreciated.
Junior Division Meeting
There will be a Junior Division meeting tonight at 7pm – all welcome!
South Port Points Series
Two races down and the competition is on. Confirming there is no race this weekend (as originally scheduled when the Southland Champs was originally going to be held in early December. This weekend’s race will be postponed to Saturday 2 December. The updated points tables can be viewed here

Board Required
Next year our Southland junior import Ewan Syme, from Otago, will be moving to Invercargill to intensify his training on the track and he is seeking board for the year.
