While we didn’t break any records on the numbers front on Tuesday, it was awesome to welcome a couple of new riders to the fold and also a couple of top riders from outside the region / new to the region, and everyone had a fun albiet tough night of racing.
Neil Jamieson was the absolute standout rider in Division 2, taking a clean sweep of all races. Things are looking good for Master’s Worlds Neil, and the Tuesday night racing team sends you off with best wishes! As well, of course, as Erin, Rog and Simon!
It was also great to see the girls looking strong in Division 2, and fantastic to have an excellent women’s line up for the Keirin.
In Division 1, Patrick Jones from Dunedin was in dominant form, taking out all the Division 1 races and showing some great form after a season in America. Brendan Akeroyd is also continuing his impressive rise to the top.
Big thank you to Stu MacDonald for riding the motorbike, and to Caleb Hope for helping out with the lap board.
