Small but quality fields graced the track on Tuesday, for our first night of winter racing.  Following a month of Madison training, everyone was chomping at the bit to race (or observe!) the fruits of labour after many hours of hard work honing skills and technique.

Division 1 rider of the night went to Karl Watson – great to see the big man out on the track carving it up!  Division 2 rider of the night went to Jeff Rooney, who is looking like a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming Corporate Pursuit.

The Madison at the end of the night was a definite highlight – really awesome to see the outstanding skills, good positive fast racing, and the enjoyment both riders and spectators got from the race.  Really looking forward to seeing all the Madison participants putting their new found track skills and confidence into action during the summer race season.

Senior Racing will continue next Tuesday from 7-8pm, so will look forward to seeing everyone there!
