2026 Otago/Southland Secondary Schools Road Cycling Championships

The 2026 Otago/Southland Secondary Schools Road Cycling Championships is taking place on Thursday 21 May at Teretonga Park, Invercargill. 

Assemble at Teretonga Park 86 Sandy Point Road,  Invercargill 

• Sign-on and number collection: from 9:00am
• Race briefing: 9:30am (everyone must attend)
• Time trial start: first rider away at 10:00am

- Road Race start times will be confirmed at the completion of the Time Trial.
- Some races may be combined; however, individual age group results will still apply.
- Please note that the Time Trial start list is provisional and may still be subject to change.
- Boys and Girls grades will be separate with points allocated for finishing positions. 
- The Team’s trophy will be awarded to the Southland school with the most points. 
- Non-attendance at briefing may result in disqualification.

NB: If a rider turns 15 in 2026 they will compete in the U16's 

Note: Riders must compete in a minimum of two events to be eligible for medals.
