Covid Alert Level

Full details of the Orange alert level requirements are included in the online waiver when registering for a session, and on the front page of the Cycling Southland website.
A mask has to be worn when in the building, and may only be removed when exercising, eating, or drinking. Masks are compulsory for all officials, coaches, volunteers, and spectators, and also for riders while not riding or warming up/down on the rollers.

4:00pm - 6:00pm   Supersonics (Junior-skilled)
Coached session open to Junior riders who have built up some track skills, having made their way through the Learn to Ride/Flyers/Rockets programme.

Coached session open to skilled U19, Elite, and Masters riders, U15/U17 riders welcome with coach referral and approval by Sprint Squad coaches. The focus is on sprint events and skills, including match sprints, Keirin, team sprint, and time trial.

Tuesday - 28 June

Open track paceline with basic track skills required (having progressed through Track Start). This is an uncoached session.

Coached session for young riders who have progressed through Learn to Ride and Flyers and find themselves ready to build on the skills and fitness they need to enjoy their track riding even more.

This is multi-week introductory programme for riders 10 and over, and will help them gain the skills they need to progress onto other track sessions like Flyers, Rockets, and on to the Junior squads.
