ILT Masters Track National Championships
The ILT Masters Track National Championships is New Zealand's premier national track cycling event for masters riders.
The 2024 event will is being hosted by Cycling Southland on 14-16 March in Invercargill.

Team Training
Clubs can book one or two hour slots of training time for Wednesday 13th March.. Charges do apply. Contact [email protected] to book your training time, noting this is not a guaranteed booking until Cycling Southland confirm.

Masters 1 Category is for riders aged between 35 and 39 as at 31 December 2024
Masters 2 Category is for riders aged between 40 and 44 as at 31 December 2024
Masters 3 Category is for riders aged between 45 and 49 as at 31 December 2024
Masters 4 Category is for riders aged between 50 and 54 as at 31 December 2024
Masters 5 Category is for riders aged between 55 and 59 as at 31 December 2024
Masters 6 Category is for riders aged between 60 and 64 as at 31 December 2024
Masters 7 Category is for riders aged between 65 and 69 as at 31 December 2024
Masters 8 Category is for riders aged between 70 and 74 as at 31 December 2024

Masters Cat 4 is for riders aged 65+ as at 31 December 2024
All entries will be required to be approved by the representing club.
Event Rules
Racing will be conducted under UCI regulations and Cycling New Zealand Road & Track racing rules.
SANCTIONS
The UCI scale of penalties will apply.
Any fines will be invoiced to the Club post event.
EQUIPMENT
Bicycles must conform with current UCI regulations.
RACE KIT
Riders must wear their approved Club Colours – skinsuit/jerseys and shorts. Shorts may display sponsors that are detailed on the rider’s racing licence. Riders may ride in their Centre Colours if they wish, provided they have clearance from their club to do so. A start may be refused for any incorrectly attired rider. After 2024, Centre Kit will no longer be acceptable to race in after two years grace.
EVENT WITHDRAWS AND REFUNDS
Entries are not transferable.
Refunds may be available if a withdrawal is requested in writing prior to Sunday 25 February. If accepted a refund of the entry fee less a $25 admin fee will be applied.
Withdrawals submitted after Sunday 25 February are not eligible for a refund.

Team Managers
All Clubs are required to nominate a Team Manager (can be a rider or non-rider).
Please email [email protected] to appoint your Team Manager.
Clubs will be sent a list of riders and their contact details once entries close. Clubs must appoint a Team Manager prior to the event. The Team Manager must attend Confirmation of Starters and the Team Managers meeting, and distribute race numbers, accreditation and any key messages to their riders.
All Club officials/handlers must be registered by emailing [email protected] in order to receive accreditation into the in-field. Team Officials are limited to 1 x Manager, 1 x Coach, and 1 x Handler per 5 riders by Friday 8th March.
All team officials must have a 2024 Cycling New Zealand Licence with the appropriate technical endorsement from their Club, and they must have their 2024 licence on them at all times to gain access to the infield.
