Saturday Oceania Track Updates

The final day of racing at the SuperDrome in Adelaide promised plenty of action with 15 Southlanders in action on the final day of competition at the 2013 Oceania Track Cycling Championships. Pieter Bulling, Jeremy Presbury, Cameron Karwowski, Laura Heywood and Sequoia Cooper made sure that promise was delivered on with medal-winning performances.

Bulling holding second at Oceanias

Eddie Dawkins on his way to winning the Oceania Kilo title - credit markgunter.com.au Matt Archibald and Eddie Dawkins finished fifth and sixth respectively in the Mens Sprint after both successfully qualified for the quarter-finals earlier today at the Oceania Track Championships in Adelaide.

The 2025 edition of the SBS Bank Tour of Southland will take place from 2 November to 8 November.
In the 2024 edition of New Zealand's most successful multi-stage road race, Josh Burnett one his second SBS Bank Tour of Southland in the space of three years.
Winning a second SBS Bank Tour of Southland in the space of three years is something that will take some time to sink in for Josh Burnett.
The 24-year-old produced a strong final day in the 68th edition of the Southland tour to add his name to an elite list of riders who have won the fabled event multiple times.
Burnett was third in the morning’s individual time trial in Winton, before his Creation Signs-MitoQ-NZ Cycling teammates delivered him safely to Invercargill’s Queens Park over the final 77km stage in gale winds to collect the title...... ... READ MORE -
