On Saturday night we were treated to a sneak preview of what to expect when the UCI Juniors World Track Championships start at Stadium Southland Velodrome in a little over a week writes Chief Executive Nick Jeffrey.

Saturday provided us with a beautiful mild and sunny day for the last race in the Winter Points Series, over the undulating Beast of the East circuit in the picturesque Te Tipua area.

BikeNZ’s three junior world squad coaches are satisfied with where their charges are at, ten days out from the start of the UCI Juniors Track World Championships. The full New Zealand squad was put through its paces on Saturday at Cycling Southland’s Junior Worlds Curtain-Raiser race night.
