A busy weekend of racing for everyone!

BikeNZ boss Andrew Matheson stresses New Zealand's two indoor velodromes - Invercargill and Cambridge - will both see top level racing in the future.

Howdy doody everyone and an official welcome to Spring – Yay!!

Well our superstar para pilot couldn’t help herself again over the weekend when Laura Fairweather teamed with partner Emma Foy to take out silver at the 2014 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships in Greenville, USA.

Blue sky and sunshine greeted riders on Saturday at Grove Bush. Division 1, 2 and 3 completed 76km with 2 laps of the Hedgehope Spring Hills, Rakahouka circuit.

The NZ Para-Cycling team won a silver medal today at the 2014 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships in Greenville, USA. The tandem pairing of Emma Foy and Laura Fairweather (sighted pilot) took to the road in tough conditions and were pleased with their gutsy performance.
