On Thursday night Cycling Southland held a Send-off Function for our Olympic, Paralympic and Junior Worlds cyclists. From this week our crop of talented bike riders start the next phases of their respective campaigns with pre-competition training camps as they scatter around the globe.

Invercargill air traffic controller Natasha Hansen will board a flight of her own next week, the first leg of a journey which ends at the Olympic velodrome in London. Southland's Olympic, Paralympic and Junior Worlds cyclists were given a sendoff by Cycling Southland at a function last night.

Year Plans for U15 and 17 Age Groups have been finalised and watch this space as our divine Dale works her magic to produce these extensive documents for all age groups later this week!
