Former and current Junior Worlds' representatives Steph McKenzie and Kate Dunlevey are the stars of Sky Sport's new Olympic Games cycling promo. The advert was shot on the Velodrome at the end of March and promotes Sky's 2012 Olympic coverage.

Invercargill cyclist Pieter Bulling moved into contention for the Under-23 podium after a strong performance in stage six of the An Post Ras Tour of Ireland. Bulling and fellow BikeNZ-Pure Black Racing Under-23 teammate Taylor Gunman finished in a select lead group after the gruelling 134km stage from Bunrana to the west coast fishing port of Killybegs, which featured with several category one and two climbs.

A peleton rolled into Invercargill yesterday at the end of a gruelling one-day $10,000 fundraising cycle ride. The group rode from Frankton to Invercargill to raise funds for the Lakes District Air Rescue Trust, the local recipient of the nationwide Westpac Chopper Appeal.
