Mental toughness after recent three-race deciders proved decisive for Commonwealth Games champion Sam Webster who claimed the men’s sprint title at the Skoda Track Cycling Nationals at the Avantidrome in Cambridge tonight.
Top sprinters Sam Webster and Steph McKenzie claimed their fifth title between them on the penultimate night of the Skoda Track Cycling Nationals at the Avantidrome in Cambridge tonight.
After stellar racing last night, the star sprinters all rose to the top in keirin qualifying on the third morning of the Skoda Track Cycling National Championships at the Avantidrome in Cambridge.
With a weather-eye fixed on the 2016 Olympics, Cycling New Zealand will invest in youth for this month’s UCI Track Cycling World Championships.
