Hello team and hope you all got to enjoy the long Waitangi weekend, it always comes as a bonus after a cracking busy start to the year!

It was great to see the road racing series get underway last weekend – albeit a small field, which is understandable on a holiday weekend. You can read Race Manager Tony Hammington’s super fun report here

Next Saturday is the Woodstock 54km Handicap followed by teh 2nd race in the South Port Crit Series, being held at the Balmoral Drive circuit on Sunday so get your entries in now and remember to check up on your race manager or marshalling duties for the season ahead by viewing the programme

Attached is the programme for the NZ Cup. Also there are criteriums on Sunday morning. This has a report time of 9am. It's in the wharf area of town with the start finish line at Sheetmetal Otago on Willis St.

View the map here Dunedin is pretty much booked out. No affordable accommodation! So the Crit may not be so attractive.

Senior Racing
The lack of numbers attending senior racing means this session may have to be shut down early in the year due to lack of viability. If people are intending on returning – particularly seniors – can you please let me know [email protected] otherwise action will have to be taken sorry. In the meantime it will run as an informal session and attendees can organise some racing if numbers allow.
