This year marked the second running of our Secondary School version of the Corporate Pursuit, in team sprint format.
The third race in the Baxter and Neilson junior track cycling series for 2013 took place last Friday undeterred by the craft show in the centre of the velodrome.
For the first time in a few years, we had a perfect day for the Memorial Race, which was a treat - particularly compared to last weekend’s hurricane conditions!
Despite arriving home in Alexandra with a haul of medals from the Junior World Track Cycling Championships in Glasgow, there will be no rest for New Zealand cyclist Liam Aitcheson.
H & J Smith Benchmark team mates are expected to go on the hunt for strong finishes at the fifth round of the Benchmark Homes Elite Cycling Series, the McKenzie & Willis Classic when it is raced near Queenstown on Saturday after spending much of the series racing overseas.
Rimu School was the scene for another battle against not only other riders but also our dreaded wind!
The depth in international paracycling continues to grow, something which makes New Zealand's medal-winning feats at the road world championships even more special.
