The New Zealand Para-Cycling team has battled through extreme heat to claim two silver medals at the Para-Cycling Road World Cup in Germany.
Southland team pursuit cyclist Pieter Bulling has returned from his training in Europe to prepare for the World Cup in December.
Cyclist Nicole Shields spent part of the school holidays training at the velodrome in Invercargill.
Another successful year of achievements was celebrated by members of the cycling fraternity at the Cycling Southland annual prizegiving awards last night.
