Cyclist Nick Kergozou is eager to add a Junior Tour of Southland title to his list of wins.

Southland will be represented by some quality young track riders at next month's Oceania Championships in Adelaide.

11 Southlanders are set to represent the 30-strong NZ track cycling team heading  to contest the all-important Oceania Cycling Championships in Adelaide next month.

The always popular 2015 Tour de Vineyards is back for the coming New Year and will run from 30 December 2014 to 3 january 2015.

The selectors are happy to name the following riders to ride for Southland at the 2015 Elite and Under 19 Track Nationals.

A maximum field of 120 riders from 20 teams are expected to take part in this year’s 58^th Tour of Southland cycle race, which commences in Invercargill on Sunday 2 November.

Here is the draft programme for Wednesday and Thursday's National Principals Conference, obviously dependent on numbers, timing and capabilities of the Principals this may alter.

Well, the first BikeNZ Classic and Tier 1 Cup events are done and dusted in Cambridge with some outstanding results across the board from many of our Southland riders. It was awesome to follow your successes everyone and good luck with your final build up to those venturing on the Oceas in Adelaide next month

In perfect conditions an average size field set off into the hills over the 102km course. A gap of 36min separated the seven groups of riders for the 2014 Gorge Road Memorial Classic.

Four talented Southland cyclists are attempting to put their best foot forward for selection in the New Zealand team for future Junior World Track Cycling Championship events.

Ten cyclists will be departing from Bluff on Friday 11 October and, over 22 days, will make their way up to Cape Reinga - a staggering distance of 2330kms!!  The purpose is to "Ride Out of the Blue," is to raise awareness of depression and suicide, and raise money for the Mental Health Foundation of NZ to implement mindfulness programmes into NZ primary schools for prevention and early intervention of mental health problems later in life.
