A big congratulations first up to our ILT Southland Sports Awards winners Eddie Dawkins for the Senior Sportsperson of the Year and Jeremy Presbury for the Junior Sportsperson of the Year, after being announced at another annual gala event at the Ascot Park Hotel on Friday night.

Track cyclist Eddie Dawkins was named ILT Senior Sportsperson of the Year after an exceptional year, which included winning a world title at the UCI Track World Cycling Championships, as part of the men's sprint team at the annual awards on Friday night.
