The 2018 Oceania Track Championships will be held in Cambridge from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 November this year and pre-event information is now out. The Southland entry will be done through the office.
Attached is the official entry form. Please complete the form and return this to firstname.lastname@example.org before 31 October 2017. Entry fees are payable by all NZ Centres. Only one entry form per centre will be accepted.
Note: Selection of the New Zealand National Team will be made on or prior to the 24th October. This enables Centres a further week to finalise entries prior to entries closing.
The Championships are open to Junior U19 and Elite riders (age is at 31 December 2018) from OCC National Teams, OCC UCI registered teams, NZ Centre teams or Australian State teams. Click here to read more on entry criteria and licencing requirements.
Click here to view the provisional programme. There will be an official training day provided on Sunday 19th November prior to competition commencing on 20th November. Team times will be assigned when entries close. This time will be provided to teams at no charge.
Cambridge is close to some of New Zealand's major international attractions like Hobbiton, Waitomo Caves, Hamilton Gardens and Tauranga. Yet with plenty of unique local attractions, events and dining options - and a friendly, relaxed town ambience - you may not want to leave! It is approx. 1h40min from Auckland International Airport or 20min Hamilton Airport. If you are traveling to Hamilton airport with bikes and additional luggage we strongly recommend you contact your airline and advise them as there is limited space on the planes and this could result in a delay in your equipment arriving if plans are not made. Accommodation and Transfers
The event is not providing an accommodation or transport service so teams will be required to arrange this directly. Click here to find out more on Cambridge and Accommodation options. We are of course happy to provide recommendations if needed.
