Some positions have now become available for Ian Densie's Sunday afternoon private track training sessions.

These sessions provide specific training, personal advice, skills and experiences. Ian has run these sessions for the past five years and has had riders carry on to achieve success at local, national and international events.

A few of the riders who were atttending these sessions have now moved out of town, have young families or are busy with work, so Ian is offering space for any riders who are keen to join them. The sessions run most Sundays from 3pm to 5pm and the cost for the two hours of private coaching is only $20.

As these sessions are limited to between six and 12 riders, Ian is able to modify what is done to suit a range of people, regardless if you are an experienced rider looking to race at a competitive level or a beginner cyclist (such as Corporate Challenge or Club road rider) who wants to advance their experience and skill level. You are welcome to go along.

The sessions focus on all aspects of track training and racing, including speed work from lead-out sprints, team sprints, Russian efforts and motor pacing. There is also strength work with standing starts, gate starts and rolling acceleration efforts, endurance training with individual pursuits, team pursuits, interval training and lactate tolerance efforts.

Please note that the number of riders at these sessions is limited so that the level of coaching can be kept at a high standard, so if you are interested in joinging this group or have any questions, please give Ian an email or call first.
