Corbin and Hayden Strong put in dominant performance’s in their respective divisions with a clean sweep of all of their races which included Corbin taking out the Junior Wheel race and Hayden the senior New Zealand Cup on Wheels as well as the Konica Minolta Benero Cup for the open points race.
The points race was an all-Southland podium with Corbin 2nd (U17) and Nepia Ruwhiu 3rd (U17) just ahead of Otago’s Ewan Syme (U17) who will ride for southland at the Age Group Track Nationals. Josh Miller (U15) took out the Junior points race after having to ride Junior A grade with the U17’s for all his previous races.
