Daryl Johnstone will rack up his 10th Corporate Pursuit when Cycling Southland's annual business house track competition gets underway in June.
Johnstone, the head of technology for the HW Richardson Group, is believed to be the only rider who has competed in all nine previous events and is back again for the 2015 edition.
HW Richardson Group, AWS and Opus are the only three businesses who will be riding for the 10th time.
"It's great that the business has continued to support a local event like this," Johnstone said.
"Over the years quite a few of the senior managers have had a go."
Johnstone said the event fitted well with businesses' desire to provide a healthy workplace for their employees.
It also made for plenty of banter between businesses in the lead up to the finals, he said.
Johnstone has bought his own track bike over the years and dusts it off every winter in preparation for another Corporate Pursuit.
HW Richardson Group have had a best finish of eighth in the Corporate Pursuit, and have won the second division competition.
Cycling Southland expect to have a full field of 34 teams for the event.
The Corporate Pursuit time trials will be held on June 19, with the finals on June 28.
