Erin Scratch GoldWell day 4 of racing is done and dusted at the World Masters Track Championships in Manchester and super champ Erin Criglington has added another gold to her medal haul in the 40-44 Scratch Race.

Colin Claxton set a new PB in the 65-70 men's 500m time trial to finish a creditable 5th.

Bill Allen from Otago finished just outside the medals in 4th place in the 75+ men's 500m TT - slightly off his PB in 43.552.

In the women's scratch races, the 35-39 and 40-44 raced together for a separate podium. After being boxed in in the final lap, a gap opened up for Erin in the final bend and I road through it to claim the gold in the 40-44 age group, ahead of Cheryl Fuller Muller (USA) in 2nd and Susie Mitchell (Ireland) in 3rd.

Tomorrow evening she has the 500m Time Trial. Colin has his favoured event - the IP, with qualifying in the morning and finals in the evening session.
