The Great Southern Cycle Challenge (GSCC) is an initiative by the Rotary Club of Invercargill South to raise funds for the St John Health Shuttle. It is a virtual mini tour of Southland, open to all cyclists of average or better fitness levels.

It's time to sart gearing up for this year's event, which is being held on Saturday 1 November prior to the SBS Bank Tour of Southland.

Starting from Surrey Park at SIT Zero Fees Velodrome in Invercargill, the course covers a host of local towns before returning to the finish near the Velodrome. All roads are open to other users so participants must obey the road code at all times.
