Cam KarwowskiSouthland-based Cameron Karwowski finished ninth at the UCI track World Cup in Cali, Colombia today.

Karwowski clocked 1:03.546 in his run to be ninth from the 20 starters in the 1000m time trial. He started fast before dropping to 11th fastest midway through, and recovered for his ninth placing.

Colombia’s Fabian Puerta won in 1:00.92.

Karwowski is the sole BikeNZ rider at the opening round of the Wold Cup.
