The final heat of the Lone Star-Speights Roller Racing Challenge saw strong performances across the night.

In the end it was the newly established Steve Rhodes Feature Cars tem that secured the win with a time of 1min 50.390.

The men’s final saw three of the four finalists securing their finals birth with impressive 24 second. James Jubb (Ricoh Southland) backed up best from the team round to win the men’s final, while Justine Horner (Opus International Consultants) led throughout the women’s final to take a deserved victory.

The focus for the team now switches to the 10th Anniversary Cycling Southland Corporate Challenge Time Trial with the first team away at 6pm Friday. Spectator admission is just a gold coin donation.
