The hot conditions within the Lonestar bar were equaled by the sizzling times recorded by teams and individuals alike.

Anchoring the Radcliffe Electrical Team, Logan Havenaar was the first rider in the competition to secure a time within the 22 second range stopping the clock with a 22.592 in the men’s final.

The only team to go under 1:50 for the night, the Radcliffe Electrical team were over 2.5 seconds faster than their nearest rival Whytes Gravel Supplies.

Next week’s final heat sees a further eight teams take on the clock in the hope of being one of the top eight for the finals on the 1 July.
