Vital Signs Tour de Lakes
We are on the prowl and seeking any absolutely lovely, wonderful families (yes this is an all-out grovel!) on this year’s anniversary Easter tour who can perhaps offer a bed to our ever-awesome timing systems queen Danielle Ralph, who is again offering her skills and personal time to do the Tour for Allan and the team this year.

If anyone is able to help us out please contact Allan [email protected] – your assistance is hugely appreciated.

Meanwhile, you can enter by downloading the entry form here

Tuesday Senior Racing
Numbers on Tuesday nights have been very light – remember to head along for organised racing every Tuesday for second year U17s and older between 7-9pm.

H&Js Benchmark Series
Regrettably H&J’s won’t be running a team in the Calder Stewart Elite Cycling Series (previously known as Benchmark Series) this year, primarily because so many of our established riders are either overseas or migrating to Cambridge. The series remains an excellent opportunity for riders to race in intense high quality completion against the best from around the country and is an ideal way for promising riders competing at elite level to learn the skills required to race within a team environment and an ideal preparation for riders considering racing in a team in Europe.

If there are local riders who aspire to race in this series there may be spots available in other teams and they should contact the organisers. Alternatively, should there be someone willing to organise a team we will gladly assist them where we can. For more information riders can check out the website to see what is involved at  http://www.eliteseries.co.nz/ or contact John Green on 021 391 036.

Well that’s it until we hopefully see you down at the Track cheering on the crew at our next ILT Festival of Speed Carnival on Friday and Saturday night, starting at 7pm both nights. Entry is $12 (plus booking fee) for adults and $5 (plus booking fee) for students and seniors. Kids under 12 get in free.

If anyone is still able to lend a hand, we’d very much appreciate it. Let me know [email protected] – thank you!

Finally, there’s some great turnout at Wednesday Worlds so if you haven’t been heading along make sure you get to Tisbury School at 6pm with your $5 for 6.30pm race start – A BIG REMINDER folks that this is a public road club race so you need a minimum of a Ride Club Licence and Cycling Southland membership to race in this event – you have been warned and this will be clamped down on if you don’t get licensing now! Thank you again!

See you on the weekend
