Hi and welcome to another week.
We were out for some great racing at the Otago-Southland Secondary Schools Road Champs yesterday so a little late with this instalment and it’s short and very sweet.
2015 Southland Road Champs this week – ENTER NOW!
This Thursday, starting 6pm, is the 2015 Southland Road Champs Time Trials in McQuarrie Street. If you haven’t yet registered Register here now!
Saturday the Road Champs race will be held on the New Vale Coal Circuit, at Te Tipua, starting from 10am. Again get registering on the link above.
A reminder that road racing entries need to completed online to establish adequate numbers and costs are covered. The link is always easily found by going to the Cycling Southland website home page and under the CS logo at the top left is the heading “Weekly Road & Track Schedule” Click on this in the online entry form is always there.
Secondary School Road Champs
Another great day of racing was had by all at Teretonga yesterday and we were delighted to have many out of town entries, including 20 from Columba College.

10th Anniversary Corporate Pursuit
This year’s 10th Anniversary Corporate Pursuit is scheduled for
7 May: Entries close 5:00pm
13 May: Event briefing – 7:00pm
19th June: Time Trial – 6-10pm
28th June: Race Day
We would really appreciate members to assist with coaching or officiating on these days. Please contact the office [email protected] and leave your details. If you know of a business that you will be coaching could you also inform the office. This year we will also be offering a basic coaches evening to assist our volunteers.

Entries close this Friday 20th March and entries after this will incur a late penalty – so get entering now! And make sure you spread the word to anyone who may be thinking about it.
