End of year
The end of our financial year is fast approaching so if you have any outstanding bills to pay, can you please get them sorted as soon as possible to make that part of things easier to reconcile.
Junior road racing
Sid and Ferg are working on some road racing training programmes for U13, U15, & U17 riders to help them prepare for the Yunca Junior Tour of Southland. Initially they’ll be programmes for riders to do in their own time or with friends, but the goal is to create some coach-led recreation ride squads for young riders (with parents joining in too) that will find traffic-free or low-traffic routes to help teach the basics of road cycling plus provide some invaluable outdoor training.
There are some H&S aspects that need to be sorted first, which we hope to do with Cycling NZ, but the aim is to have these up and running soon. Stay tuned!
