The final morning of qualifying at the RaboDirect Age Group Championships was held this morning at the ILT Velodrome.

Finalists were found in the Under 17 sprints, Under 15 Scratch, Under 19 Team Sprints and Men Points and Masters Men Team Pursuit.

The 12 finalists in the Under 15 Scratch will be Ellis Tagg, Connell Leahy, Corbin Mason-Smith, Joshua Smith, Rhys Jones, Lachie McGregor, Liam Haggerty, Sam Dobbs, Cory Cannings, Campbell Stewart, Jonathan Barnes and Hayden Strong.

In the Under 19 Team Sprint, Stephanie McKenzie blitzed home in 15.3 seconds to qualify fastest with Kate Dunlevey and set up a mouth-watering match up with Paige Paterson and Raquel Sheath from Auckland. Canterbury and Waikato-Bay of Plenty will ride for bronze. The Men's title will be decided between top qualifier Canterbury who finished a second and a half faster than their nearest rival, a Composite team made up of Daniel Gate, Jonathan Laycock and Matt Noble. Southland's Tom Dawkins, Ethan Thwaites and Paddy Daly will ride for bronze against Tasman.

The Masters Men 3000m Team Pursuit final will be an all Southland affair. Jerard Stock, Garry Smith and Michael White qualified fastest by 6.5 seconds and will line up with Derek Tan, Andrew Lienert and Neil Familton for gold. Auckland will face a Composite team for bronze.

In the Under 17 Sprint, Auckland's Lauren Hobson will ride West Coast North Island's Kate Stewart for gold while Isabella Williams and Robin Hacker-Cary will battle for bronze. The Boys medals will be decided when Chad Elliston and Daniel Rafferty square off for gold, while bronze will go to either Michael Culling or Alex Hooper.

The last event to be raced on the programme tonight will be the Under 19 Mens Points Race. The Omnium field will be joined by the first five in this morning's heat, Alex Frame, Pieter Bulling, Matt Noble, Matt Zenovich and Hardy Michel.
