Saturdays Race was a wet, windy and cool affair. 15 real cyclists including two juniors turned up to brave the elements. Due to the low numbers and determination of those who turned up wanting to race, a Sealed Handicap was organised. The late arrival of Matt Nunn and subsequent delay had riders freezing on the start line unamused, however a not so neutral mass start got the race under way to Otautau via Isla Bank. The race broke up early into the expected groupings with a tailwind to Otautau and slog coming home to Riverton.

The front group sprint for the line had:

Blake Tait Jones 1st        1.39.18
Corbin Strong 2nd           1.39.19
Matt Nunn 3rd                  139.21

The sealed Handicap winner was Robert Wall who from reports spent a fair amount of the race by himself.

Robert Wall                   1.55.55   1st    1.30.55
Blake Tait-Jones            1.39.18   2nd   1.34.27
Corbin Strong                1.39.19   3rd -  1.35.49

Josh Miller got the better of gutsy new rider Morgan Borrie in their Junior race to Fairfax return.

Thanks to marshalls and helpers Waine Harding, Bruce Ross, Wayne Muchland, Aaftke Huisman and Lindsay Jones
