The first heat of the 2014 Lonestar Speights Roller Racing competition has seen SBS Bank set the benchmark for the remaining two weeks of heats.
Competitors in last year's event, SBS came to the competition with a bit of knowledge as to the effort required to be in the hunt for a win and win they did, taking a clear victory from their competitors not only in the team section but also in the individual men's and women's events on the night.
Thanks to the fantastic support of Lonestar-Speights, the team walked away with $200 worth of Lonestar vouchers for their nights effort.
Racing continues next Tuesday at the Lonestar Invercargill starting at 7:00pm.
