Our final race night before Christmas saw another small turn out – with many riders already shipping out, and shutting it down for Christmas -  but it was still an excellent night of racing and we finished off with a Christmas Special in the Motor-Paced “5 Miler.”

Ben Stewart had a great night, in-conjunction with his partner in crime Ant Leathart, taking out two races and placing 2nd in another to top off a season of huge improvements for the young sprinter.  Andrew Lienert also rode well, showing a good turn of speed at the end of hard and fast races.

In Division 2, Mark Kerrison and Craig Sadlier both rode strongly, and Wayne McEwan showed a great turn of speed to take out the “Win and Out” with a first lap flyer.

Thank you to Maree Wilkins, for helping out for the entire year of racing, and also to Stu MacDonald for helping out and riding the bike for the final race.

We are back racing again on January 10th, some come along for a hit out before the New Year Carnival Track on the 17th & 18th January!
