Another good night of racing was had by all on Tuesday. With the Madison racing series over, we were able to squeeze in four races for each Division in our one hour slot, which meant short breaks between races and the spontaneous combustion of a few riders!

Tom Beadle was the stand-out rider in the early Division 1 races, with a blistering turn of speed impressing spectators. Consistent Division 1 riders throughout the night were Nick Kergozou, Brendan Akeroyd (showing huge improvement!) and Andrew Lienert.

In Division 2, Grant Toomey had an excellent night, with another consistent showing by Tim Maynard and Jamie Wilson. Neil Jamieson proved his build up to the Masters Worlds is going well with an outstanding ride in the Points Race to round out the evening with a win.

We have one more week of ‘one hour’ racing, before the two hour slot opens up following the Corporate Pursuit. From here we will run three divisions (if numbers dictate) with hopefully some of the Corporate Pursuiters will come along to join the fun. With the extra time, we will also run wider variety of races.
