Entries are open and spots are filling up for the 2018 Vantage Criterium National Championships happening again around the streets of Takapuna, Auckland on Sunday 12 November.

The Vantage Criterium National Championships are a pinnacle event on the Cycling New Zealand calendar, contested by some of New Zealand’s top cyclists and we would love to see your club represented across the events.

Events include U17 Boys and Girls (NZ Championship), Open B Grade Men and Women (depending on entry numbers), and Open A Grade Men and Women (NZ Championship). All age groups are determined as of 31 December 2018 although a 2017 licence is accepted.

This year we have introduced a new race to the line-up, the Vantage Criterium Nationals Street Race presented by Kiwivelo.  This is open to licensed and recreational riders (with a special event licence) who are keen to get involved in the action and battle it out with their mates around the streets of Takapuna. This is a great option for your club members who are still gaining experience or fitness but want to get involved.  Big thanks to the team at Kiwivelo for their support of this event.

If you are not looking to race then we invite you to come along and enjoy the hospitality of the bars and cafes of Takapuna who hold prime viewing spots!

Click here for entry information and make sure you encourage your club to get their entries in before Sunday 5 November.  Please share this with your riders.

Check out www.criteriumnationals.nz for more information, we’ll see you there!
