New Track Etiquette Guidelines
At last week’s club racing new guidelines for track etiquette were handed out. Some were new but the bulk were reinforcing existing rules.

Most of the bike racks have been removed from the ‘D’ to create space and we’re trialling the rollers on the barrier on the inside of the ‘D’ to alleviate pressure there.

The main points to follow include:

  • not using rollers on the grey
  • not beginning a session – which includes riders rolling on the grey – until the previous session has finished
  • returning club bikes to the right numbered slots
  • behaviour and language
  • returning the motorbike to its spot in the tunnel
  • keeping the ‘D’ in a tidy condition
  • returning things after they’re used
  • using repair tags and putting damaged bikes in the lockup
  • reporting accidents
  • Shutting the door of the lockup once you have your bike.

The rules can be viewed here
We’re trying to bring solutions not problems to the organisation and these are simple solutions.

Finally, a huge thank you to the wonderful people and businesses who donated prizes and took part in the hugely successful road racing Quiz Night recently. It proved to be a valuable fundraiser for the upcoming road racing season.

See you out and about at all the events and happenings over the coming week – keep warm!
