Afternoon cycling enthusiasts,
Well the cooler, shorter days are certainly causing more bikes to take to the velodrome boards recently and momentum is certainly starting to build leading into the 2017 Architecture Unlimited Corporate Pursuit. If you know of anyone thinking about entering a team, encourage them to do so as it is getting close to officially kicking into gear and we need to confirm entry numbers soon. If anyone has any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at the office.

Team debrief is Wednesday 7 June at 7pm – this is when you select your five free track session days and times.
The Time Trial is on Friday 7 July and the race day is Sunday 23 July.
Anyone wishing to help coach a team this year please contact me at the office. Also let me know if you wish to volunteer to help out at the event – could be timing, holding riders etc.

Mid-Winter Track Carnival
This will be held on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 July from 6pm nightly. This Carnival is open to all age groups so register online now

Quiz Night – Road Racing Fundraiser
A great night of entertainment will be held at the Eastern Suburbs (Glengarry Tavern) on Thursday 22 June, from 7pm. Get your team of four together and register with me at the office. Just $20 entry and plenty of raffles to win as well. Huge fun guaranteed!
Commissaires Course
Cycling New Zealand is hosting a regional R&T commissaires course in Dunedin on June 24. If you would like to attend please contact chris.foggin@cyclingewzealand.nz
Bike Film Night
This is tonight at SIT Centrestage Theatre. A night to remember with a new collection of short movies that have everything cycling fans could want – action, drama, humour and even a hint of romance. Adults $22, students $18 available from Ticket Direct or door sales. This has been selling out around the country!
Junior Road Camp
Reminder that there will be a Junior Division Road Camp at Taringatua from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 July. More information to follow.
Junior Worlds Fundraiser
Help support one of our juniors Corbin Strong get to the Junior World Track Championships being held in Montichiari, Italy this year by supporting his online auction of a signed Kiwis rugby league jersey from the 2008 World Cup winning team. Check it out online
