Happy Tuesday team and a huge good luck to our 35-strong Southland team as they settle into their digs in Cambridge on the eve of the Vantage Windows and Doors Age Group Track Nationals and Elite & U19 Omnium Championships, which start tomorrow at 5pm.
Our riders and coaches have put months of training and commitment into the build-up for this event and now the stakes are high as we go into the event just one point behind Waikato-Bay of Plenty in our bid to retain the National Points Shield for a record tenth consecutive year. We wish team Southland all the very best of luck – go fast and we all hope you succeed in performing at your personal bests. We’ll be cheering loudly in the south and know the family supporters who have travelled with you will be cheering loudly on our behalf too.
