Road Racing
It was a great race – right to the finish line – on Saturday for the George Wilson & Sons/Southland Farm Machinery Gore to Waikiwi Classic race. This week is the Wensley’s Cycles Mass Start race on the Rimu circuit. Meet at Rimu School at 1pm for a 1.30pm race start.
King House Removals Omnium Series
This will be held on three nights in September with the next race night this Friday kicking off at 6pm Check out full results so far and event dates.
Club Racing
Tonight is Open Club Racing from 6-8pm, all welcome.
Nutrition Night
A nutrition seminar has been organised this Thursday 7 September at 6.30pm and will be held in the Champions Lounge for both riders AND parents of U15 and U17 riders. Cost is $10 per family.
A follow-up meeting is also planned for Thursday September 28, cost $10.
If you're unsure what your young rider should be eating and when, this is an ideal opportunity to get specialist information from a nutrition. Bookings are essential because spaces are restricted so email [email protected] to secure your place.
Yunca Junior Tour

ILT Junior Track Carnival and South Island Secondary Schools Champs
The South Island Secondary School Track Championships will be held alongside the Junior Track Carnival, following the Yunca Junior Tour again this year, on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 October.
Entries for both these events are now open online. View all the details online
This year the schools event will be held during the day with qualifying events on the Tuesday and racing all day Wednesday. Entry for the schools event are through Cycling New Zealand.
Cuddon Schools Cycling Tour
Well done to the small crew who travelled to Marlborough for the Cuddon Schools Cycling Tour during the weekend. Conor and Ronan Shearing, Quinn Naylor, Morgan Borrie and Jaz McLeod all had some outstanding results during the event. Check out the two days results here
