Greetings everyone for another weekly instalment as we move another week closer to Track Nationals – just two weeks now!!
Well the Gore to Waikiwi Classic certainly resulted in some great racing last Saturday and huge congrats to the winners and prize money recipients for some outstanding racing. Also a big thank you to our generous sponsors George Wilson and Sons and the Barry and the team at the Lonestar for allowing us to have the prize giving there. Their support is hugely appreciated. Southport Summer Criterium Series
After a false start last week, the first race in our South Port Criterium Series will be next week, on Monday 24 February at Teretonga. Sign in is at 6pm for a 6.30pm start and the entry fee will be $5.
We will run the Criterium the same as the Road Races – using the leader board to decide which grade riders start in. We will cater for everyone so if you’re thinking about it, come along!!
Up for grabs are the awesome Series Leader Jerseys, and also each week there will be a $100 cash spot prize courtesy of South Port. Outstanding!
Other dates in the series include 17 and 31 March. Your best two races count towards the overall series win. Get into it team!!!
