Greetings folks,
Well it has certainly been another exciting week in the world of cycling and there are plenty of things to say congratulations for, so let’s get into it.
AGM
This was held last Thursday night and a highlight of the short meeting was to officially announce that we have a new Life Member – congratulations to Lindsay Jordan who stepped down from the executive after 14 years of invaluable service. We hope to see you continuing to frequent our events Lindsay and that you can enjoy more quality time with family (the grand kids) and friends. Read more here

King House Removals Race Series
The organising team would like to thank everyone for the successful first night of the King House Removals Series last Friday Check out the running results. This Friday is the second night of racing based around Keirins, which will have each age group separated and promises to provide some excellent racing with some of our recent medallists from the Masters Track Nationals promising to give us a demonstration on how it is done!
Same start time as last week – 5.30pm registration and 6pm warm up – and if time allows we will be finishing with a Madison Event, which doesn’t contribute to the points for the series.
Road Racing
Well done to everyone who ventured out in what turned out to be some trying conditions on Saturday for the Woodlands circuit handicap race. View the race report and results
This Saturday is the Talbot Forest Cheese Gorge Road Graded race with another optional Time Trial at 11am. Meet at the Gorge Road Country Club (not Woodlands again as mistakenly printed in the smaller brochure). The time trial is 11am and the race is 1pm sign in for 1.30pm start.
A reminder that the bonus spot prize – that everyone including marshals are entitled to – can only be claimed if you are at the prize giving presentations at the end of the race. Accordingly, the weekly $25 has now jack-potted to $125 so stick around and be in to win! If you win prize money racing, we will hold that for you.
