Calder Stewart Series
This year’s race series will also include an U19 women’s SIT Southern Performance Hub team racing for the first time, along with the Transport Engineering - Velo South. The women racing so far will be Tayla Lumsden, Emily Paterson, Helena Rikiti, Sophie-Leigh Bloxham and new Southland member Emma Poole. Then we have Sam Miller riding for the L&M Group Ricoh Team and La’chlan Robertson riding for a Canterbury team.
Competition kicked off on Saturday in Dunedin with Transport Engineering Velo South member Matt Zenovich claiming an impressive win in the men’s 134km race. Good luck to all our riders over the coming series.
