The first day of road nationals is time trial day. It was a fine day with the wind swinging from a moderate to a stiff throughout the day. The course incorporated a decent climb at 1km from the finish which was required to be pasted over on the way out as well.

2015 Te Awamutu Tour U17 startA small contingent of southland riders took on the 2015 edition of the Te Awamutu Junior Tour. Under 17 riders Corbin Strong, Sam Miller and Hamish Keast along with under 19 riders Hayden Strong and Tom Sexton.

15 hardy riders turned up for the 80km handicap race which started and finished at the Gorge Road Country Club. A strong breeze and hilly conditions confronted the riders which left in 4 bunches for the two lap circuit race.
