A dramatic demotion to the silver medal at the world championship will be just the motivation the New Zealand team sprint squad need to race for gold at the Rio Olympics, according to Southland's Edde Dawkins.
There is strong Southland presence in a talented New Zealand under-19 team announced today to contest the Oceania Track Cycling Championships at Invercargill later in the year.
